26 Years Old Malian Woman, Halima Cisse Breaks World Record By Birthing 9 Children (Photos)

Halima Cisse, a 26-year-old Mali woman, has broken the Guinness record for the largest number of children born. She has now surpassed Nadya Suleman's previous record of eight live births in the United States.

This is the world record-breaking NINE miracle kids born to the same woman - shown all together for the first time - as the healthy brood prepares to return home.

Halima Cisse shines proudly with her nonuplets, five months after making international news when she gave birth at the Ain Borja clinic in Casablanca, Morocco, beating the previous world record set by 'Octomum' Nadya Suleman in 2009, who gave birth to eight live infants.

'All of them are getting along really well, and are a joy to look after,' Ms Cisse, 26, told MailOnline exclusively. They're becoming stronger every day, and it's possible that they'll be released from full-time medical care soon, allowing us to take them home.'

Ms Cisse's nine children, who were delivered naturally, weighed between 500gm and 1kg at birth and had to be kept in incubators in the clinic's intensive care unit for the first few months of their lives, where they were cared for round the clock by a team of physicians and nurses.

But now that they've all gained weight and continuing to grow, they'll be able to return to Mali soon.
